Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful and highly effective method of psychotherapy for all ages to relieve many types of psychological distress such as: post-traumatic stress disorder, grief, depression and addictions. EMDR seems to have a direct effect on the way your brain processes information and helps you see disturbing material in a new and less disturbing way.

Mindfulness (DBT) Skills Group teaches individuals useful skills to enhance personal well-being and interpersonal relationships. Such skills include: mindfulness, emotion regulation, thought regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness skills. This group is a 1.5 hour commitment per week, per module. Gestalt Therapy is an experiential type of therapy used to deepen your awareness of yourself and your feelings in the “here-and-now.” Since each of us have some suppressed aspects of ourselves, because they were not accepted or supported, gestalt therapy helps shed light on those repressed feelings and unfinished business so you are better equipped to understand yourself and choose whether or not you want to make changes in your behavioral pattern or the way in which you perceive yourself and others. Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that allows you to tap into your unconscious mind so you can make positive changes in your life. You do so by entering into a state of deep relaxation (known as trance) where you are able to access and develop internal resources and form new responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors and/or feelings.
